  1. Hi Michelle, in the meantime, I keep wondering about what’s termed the Late Bronze Age collapse. So many ideas about what may have caused this societal collapse have been proposed, including iron weapons and environmental factors. But we also see many complex factors associated with the plague as well, and this bronze age collapse seems to be also associated not just with military destruction but also major population crashes. I haven’t found anyone suggesting that plague was a precipitating factor, but I just keep on wondering if plague may be at the core of this collapse? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Late_Bronze_Age_collapse
